Valsartan 40/80/160mg

Valsartan is an angiotensin II receptor antagonist, which blocks the vasoconstrictor and aldosterone-secreting effects of angiotensin II and lows a blood pressure.

Usage.

Valsartan is used to treat:

hypertension,
congestive heart failure,
post-myocardial infarction

Drug interactions.

Valsartan may interact with such drugs, as:

Fluconazole
Lithium
NSAIDs
Potassium-sparing diuretics (amiloride, potassium, spironolactone, triamterene)
Rifampin
Trimethoprim
