Cefadroxil is a cephalosporin bactericidal antibiotic. It is effective in Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacterial infections. It interfers with the bacteria's cell wall formation. This causes bacteria death.

Usage.

Cefadroxil is used to treat infections of:

• the skin,
• respiratory tract,
• sinuses,
• ears,

Drug interactions.

Cefadroxil may interact with:

• other antibiotics
• probenecid

Cefadroxil possible side effects.

• nausea, vomiting
• diarrhea,
• upset stomach,

What is the shelf life of the pills?

• The expiry date is mentioned on each blister. It is different for different batches. The shelf life is 2 years from the date of manufacture and would differ from batch to batch depending on when they were manufactured.
