Generic Lozol

Indapamide 1.5/2.5mg

Indapamide is a non-thiazide sulphonamide diuretic, which enhances sodium, chloride, and water excretion and increases the amount of urine passed. That way it decreases blood pressure.

Usage

Indapamide is used to treat:

hypertension
congestive heart failure

Drug interactions

Indapamide may interact with such drugs, as:

ACE inhibitors
Beta-blockers
Cyclosporine and thiazides
Digoxin
Lithium
Neuromuscular blocking agents
NSAIDs

Indapamide possible side effects

hypokalemia,
fatigue,
orthostatic hypotension,
allergic reactions

Indapamide and pregnancy / lactation

Do not use during pregnancy and breast-feeding.
