Fluvoxamine 50/100mg
Fluvoxamine is an antidepressant which inhibits serotonin reuptake.
It does not significantly bind to alpha-adrenergic, histamine or cholinergic
receptors.
Usage.
Fluvoxamine is used to treat:
- obsessive-compulsive disorder
- major depression;
- panic disorder;
- anxiety disorders in children
Drug interactions.
Fluvoxamine may interact with such drugs, as:
- pimozide,
- thioridazine,
- mesoridazine,
- cisapride,
- MAO inhibitors
Fluvoxamine possible side effects.
- Headache,
- insomnia,
- nervousness,
- dizziness
- nausea,
- diarrhea
Fluvoxamine and pregnancy / lactation.
Use during pregnancy only if the potential benefit to the
mother outweighs the possible risk to the fetus.
Do not take this medication if you are breast-feeding a baby.
What is the shelf life of the pills?
