Bromocriptine 2.5mg
Bromocriptine is a dopamine agonist which activates postsynaptic
dopamine receptors in the tuberoinfundibular and nigrostriatal pathways. It
blocks the release of a hormone called prolactin that affects the menstrual
cycle and breast milk production.
Usage
Bromocriptine is used for:
- pituitary tumors
- Parkinson's disease.
