Flavoxate is a muscle relaxant with anticholinergic and antimuscarinic effects. It relaxes smooth muscles and causes relief to a variety of smooth muscle spasms.

Usage

Flavoxate is used to treat:

• urinary bladder spasms
• interstitial cystitis,
• dysuria, urgency,
• nocturia,
• suprapubic pain

Flavoxate possible side effects

• tachycardia,
• palpitation
• drowsiness,
• fatigue,
• headache,
• rash,
• urticaria,
• nausea, vomiting,
• dysuria ,
• leukopenia
• blurred vision

Use during pregnancy and lactation with caution, after visit to your doctor.

What is the shelf life of the pills?

• The expiry date is mentioned on each blister. It is different for different batches. The shelf life is 2 years from the date of manufacture and would differ from batch to batch depending on when they were manufactured.
